In a typical
community we have leaders, followers, positive men and indeed negative guys.
Nobody can dismiss that negative people do not play any useful role in society.
For example when we do cosmic analysis of body, mind and spirit of negative
melancholic we find them indispensable in these tumultuous days to bring wisdom
and peace. Here are seven reasons why we need negative phlegmatic:
1. You know the role and function of a
stabilizer in electric circuit. It keeps the supply at the required level
during fluctuations and acts as back –up supply source during shut downs.
Similarly, negative melancholic comes out with wit and humour when the
arguments get heated in a meeting and breaks the ice when people are not
talking to one another
2. Preserving energy is their forte. Like
camels of the desert, they have lot of energy heaped up in their system which
they can transmit to others in moments of crisis. Most people tend to be
speechless or out of wits when tragedy strikes. Not the negative melancholic.
They get going during adversity.
3. Reflecting over ideas and events is
another key strength. When everyone jumps into conclusion on important matters
they tend to express contrary opinion and ask for time to discuss it over or
adjourn the meeting till such time level heads prevail
4. They are experts in finding the easy
way out. Assume in an engineering firm where consultants come with elaborate
drawings to install a system, they come with simple and workable solution that works
better and lasts longer
5. Slow and steady is their mantra. They
do not rush where angels fear to tread. Their counsel in selecting a course of
action depends on the three limbs: cautiousness, slow moving and steady progress.
Large budget projects such as space research and weapons programmes require
scientists who are negative phlegmatic to the core
6. Avoiding conflicts as much as possible
is the key driving force. In business deal making they frown upon conflict of interest
of guys involved in the negotiation. Once agreement is finalized they would
ensure that no undue advantages accrue to either party so that whatever agreed leads
to a win-win situation
7. Lack of motivation works for them in
two ways. Firstly they do not wish to drive self-benefit from any action done
by them as administrators. Secondly they could never become robber barons even
if they get into business ventures.
