Like the Greek
mythological figure of falling Icarus, sometimes you might dream that you are
suddenly falling from the sky. How you got into the sky in the first place is
not shown in the dream. This could
unnerve you and keep you worried for several days afterwards. The meaning of
this unpleasant dream can vary according to the type of mind from where it
originated. Here is my interpretation:
Conscious mind: If this dream occurs as a lucid or vivid dream where you are
conscious of dreaming that you are falling from the sky it means that you have
done something wrong or violated some instructions in previous days in your
work or family. In Greek Mythology Icarus was given a wing made of feathers
glued with wax to escape from his imprisonment from a tower in the mid of sea.
He was instructed not to fly too high as wax would melt under the heat of sun
and not too low as the feathers would get wet with sea water. Icarus breached
the instructions and soared above in the sky. The wax started to melt and the
feathers of wing came apart. He fell into the deep sea and drowned.
Sub-conscious mind: If this dream originates in dream sleep then it
is a message from your sub-conscious mind that you ought to be aware of
pitfalls in a project or plan you are currently working on or any familial
arrangement you are preparing such as wedding, divorce, parties and events.
Un-conscious mind: If this is just an imagery or a flash message
which did not last too long then it comes as an alert from your unconscious
mind that often communicates to you in flashes, prompts, short messages, signs
and symbols rather than speech and moving scenes. The meaning conveyed is that
you should avoid making any hasty decisions in life and career that borders on
high risk such as changing job, home, partner or girlfriend.
By doing a cosmic analysis of your body, mind and spirit, you can
easily detect from where the dream of falling from the sky, in fact, originated.
