When we meet
positive chloric person occupying high seats in office, business and society we
start to admire him and think here is a born leader. No one in the world is
born as a leader but the distinguishing qualities of leadership are acquired as
one grows up. Having consulted with many clients and after analysing the body,
mind and spirit, I summarise below, five personality features of positive chloric.
1. Most of them are medium to heavy built
with a bright face and energising eyes. Their tone is heavy but not harsh. High
energy is generated within them and they flaunt it by the turn of their eyes,
face and hands. When you talk to positive chloric you can see how their face
and hands move in synchronized dynamism. Some have a swagger in walk many put
the heads and chests up like uniformed gentry. Action, optimism, enthusiasm
along with “ok, now go ahead” marked in them, they are the prime example of great
extroverts.
2. Their mind go in horizontal thinking
style where confidence and control are two aspects in a spectrum which they
know how to balance it. For example, when delegating work to others if one is
too confident then there could be a mess-up whereas if one has too much control
over the staff, a perception is built by the staff that the boss has no
confidence on them. Positive chloric applies the right blend to get things done.
3. In their spirit they have two urges
remarkably and positively aligned to prod them climbing up the stairs. One is
the strong will and the other is the urge to succeed. A strong will push them
to initiate action, proceed quickly and imbues on everyone around him the sense
of can do and will do disposition. The urge to succeed acts in pulling them out
from any potentially bad situation and do the course correction quickly and
communicate it to the subordinates or followers. Business men and political
leaders exhibit high skill in course correction. Hence they can relish in
controversy and thrive in competition.
4. Independence is the key trait in their
conduct and performance of positive chloric. He is ready to take blame if
things go wrong and equally ready to take corrective measures. Never hesitate
to say sorry if he hurts someone. At the same time he will cross swords with
his bosses if they are un-reasonable and defend his peers and subordinates if
the management witch hunts them.
5. Finally, every positive chloric has
binding faith in seeing the broad picture. He is not tied up to a narrow goal –
oriented approach but a wide objective –oriented approach. If he goes up he
wants the company to go up his boys and girls working with him to go up. He is
ready to spend time and money on projects that bring high long term benefit and
at the same time marginally above short term Revenue. Because he is not after quarterly
growth ratio but an annual profit flow that makes everyone happy.
