There are Six Chakras in your body. Let me give a broad brush stroke of the Six Chakras, their cosmics and how they influence your lifestyle.

1. Base Chakra

This Chakra is known as “Nafs” in Arabic and is located in solar plexus just below your navel. This chakra takes the form of five pointed star or pentagram. This is the only chakra in the body that is stationary. Beaming in red colour the chakra ranges between crimson to blood red. It generates five types of energy via each point of the pentagram: Fire, Spirit, Air, Water and Earth. Fire spews out up from the base chakra onto your right side torso to activate your cylinders of action. Fire also engulfs the Soul Chakra located on your right side of your chest. This chakra takes the form of six pointed star or hexagram. It is pure white in colour and rotates clockwise in a slow pace. This is the slowest amongst the rotating chakra. This chakra is the only one communicating with the divine world receiving and sending communication. In the Euphrates culture it was equated to the zodiacal sign Cancer which functioned as the gateway for the souls to enter this world. The middle chakra is a straight-forward one like a vertical line; it divides everything into two compartments: right and wrong; truth and un-truth; black and white.

This chakra symbolizes the Arabic and Hebrew alphabet “Vav”. This chakra denotes a gateway or a junction where the commands received from the heaven are being channelized to other chakras in the body. This chakra shines brighter than other chakras and has the power to magnetize, mesmerize, dazzle or burn anyone who comes into his presence. The energy generated takes the form of electrical, magnetic and telepathic energy that cannot be properly recorded or verified by any scientific equipment.

Megrez: Star that gives you a Silver Spoon

Are you born with a silver spoon in your mouth? You are if you satisfy one of the three conditions the English idiom sets for a person born with a silver spoon in his mouth. Either you are born into wealth and privilege or have good fortune that you did not earn but inherited from your family or simply you have every good thing happening around you with least efforts on your part. In all these cases there is the influence of the great star Megrez up on you. In this blog post, I examine the Star Megrez in terms of Astronomy, Asterism, Constellation and Cosmics and outline recommendations to improve your lifestyle.

Astronomy

Megrez is a bright hot star beaming with bluish-white colour in the northern sky. The word Megrez comes from Arabic “Al-Meghrez Al Dhaneb Al- Dubb Al- Akbar” meaning “the base of the tail of the Great Bear”. Al-Meghrez also means Buttocks. It is located in the constellation known as Ursa Major or in simple language “Great Bear”. Megrez is a part of seven star combinations known as Big Dipper Asterism. The other stars are Dubhe, Merak, Phekda, Alioth, Mizar and Alkaid all in the Great Bear. Beautiful star Megrez is the faintest amongst the seven stars. Its strategic position in the Asterism and the fact that to the north of the star there lies a starless sky except for the Messier 40, a Deep Sky Object of unusual and curious nature has made Megrez a legend in the sky.

Megrez is astronomically referred to as “ Delta Ursa Major“. It is classified as A3 V indicating it is blue-white dwarf with a variable brightness. It is a star of fourth magnitude in brightness with 3.3 visual magnitude. Megrez though ranked fourth as Delta in Greek alphabet, is the last in terms of brightness amongst the seven stars in the Big Dipper asterism. It is located in Right Ascension (Celestial Longitude) 12 hour 15 minutes and 25 seconds and Declination (Celestial Latitude) 57 degree 01 minutes and 57 seconds. A hydrogen fusing star, Megrez has surface temperature of 8,600 Kelvin; though the radiation is lesser than the Sun its higher internal compression makes Megrez 20 times luminous than the Sun. It is about 81 light years away and about 2.5 times the size of the Sun. It is fairly a northern star and is moving away from earth at a speed of 8.4 miles per second. Megrez has two companion stars: Delta Ursa Major B an 11 th magnitude star and Delta Ursa Major C a 10 th magnitude star both are located about three arc-minutes away from Megrez. The companions are too faintest to be seen without the aid of a telescope. Moreover, Megrez shares equidistance from the North Pole with the star Caff ((Beta Cassiopeia) which has led Megrez to be called as “ Kaffa “ by some writers erroneously.

You can observe the following: the strategic position of the star Megrez in the middle of the spoon linking the handle to the bowl; the star-less region above the star Megrez; the double star optical illusion north of Megrez lying between Alioth and Megrez known as Deep Sky Object Messier 40. In the above sky map M 40 is not typed.

Asterism

Megrez is a part of the Big Dipper Asterism, the most famous out of all asterisms. Big Dipper is also known as Wagon in USA and Plough in UK. The appropriate word is ladle because all the seven stars in the asterism form a ladle. This asterism is noted in astronomy because the seven stars in the asterism are related to each other in terms of speed , motion and the direction towards these are moving away from earth. This remarkable fact is known as “Ursa Major moving Group”. In Hindu mythology the asterism is called Saptha Rishi (Seven Stages), who incant the name of Vishnu in unison.

Constellation

Megrez belongs to the constellation Ursa Major. In Greek mythology, the legend of Ursa Major the Great Bear goes like thus: Callisto daughter of King Lycaon, king of Arcadia, became a companion of Artemis (Diana) Goddess of Hunting, after taking a vow to remain as chaste nymph. Zeus known for ravishing virgins had his sight on Callisto and eventually seduced her. Callisto became pregnant; on finding this Artemis became wild and chased Callisto away from her group. Later Callisto gave birth to a son who is called as Arcas. Enraged that Callisto gave birth to a child, Artemis turned Callisto into a bear to be hunted by her. Zeus thought otherwise and sent Callisto the bear to the heaven in the northern sky. Forever, the mother bear lurks in this region bestowing blessings to those who love her, albeit evading her hunters.

Cosmics

On the positive side Megrez is a star of great fortune. The star gives you the silver spoon from the time you are born till your end, put it in other words milk and honey for you in your entire life span. Megrez provides you with wealth, happiness, success and quiet type of life. According to physiology the Buttocks is a rounded part of the anatomy in the posterior pelvic region of human beings. Saturn - Sun Conjunction 2009

Saturn – Sun Conjunction is an annual event; the location of the event and the setting matters a lot in interpreting the event. This year it took place in Virgo constellation heralding twists and turns in your family life and business life. This blog post explains the event in terms of astronomy and cosmics and gives summary Interpretations.

1. Astronomy

1. The conjunction took place precisely at 18.30 GMT/UTC time on September 18, 2009 even though the signs of conjunction are apparent from the previous day. This event took place at the exact point in the celestial longitude known as Right Ascension (RA) of 11 hour and 45 minutes. However, the celestial latitude, known as Declination (Dec) is somewhat different. Saturn is located at 3 degree 40 minutes north whereas Sun is located at 1 degree 40 minutes north, just below the Saturn.

2. Most importantly, the conjunction is in Virgo Constellation where Sun stays the longest period of 44 days in its year long ecliptical journey. Saturn enters Virgo constellation on September 2, whereas Sun enters on September 16. The fact the conjunction taking place within three days of Sun’s entry is quite significant. Moreover, the planet Mercury is also located in Virgo constellation at this time. The Moon though close by is in Sextans Constellation south of Virgo and Leo constellations.

3. From this location if we look around we find planets, stars and an asteroid 2 Pallos in several directions:

North: The Star Nu Virgo a red giant of 4.0 visual magnitude with a spectral class of M0 located 313 light years away and positioned on the head of the ever green Virgin

North-west: The Star Sigma Leo a blue-white giant of 4.05 magnitude with a spectral class of B9 located 214 light years away and positioned on the right knee of the lion in Leo constellation

West: In the west there are 3 celestial bodies: 89 Leo a star, 2 Pallos an asteroid and Tau Leo a significant star. I have considered the last one Tau Leo for my review. The star Tau Leo is a yellow giant of 4.95 magnitude with a spectral class of G 8 located 621 light years away and positioned on the shank of the right leg of the lion in Leo constellation

South-west: The Star Upsilon Leo which is similar to Tau Leo a yellow giant of 4.30 magnitude with a spectral class of G 9 located 178 light years away and positioned on the paw of the right leg of the lion in Leo constellation.

The Moon is also located in the same direction, but in the Sextans constellation just below the star Upsilon Leo

South-east: The planet Mercury

East: The Star Zavijaya, astronomically known as Beta Virgo, a pale yellow star of 3.61 visual magnitude with a spectral class of F9 located 36 light years away and positioned on the winged right shoulder of the ever green Virgin

2. Cosmics

1. Virgo constellation is known as ever green virgin with a winged shoulder. In Greek legend Virgo represents the virgin goddess, the daughter of Astreos and Eos. In another myth Virgo is Peresphone, daughter of Zeus and Demeter, Goddess of harvest. Pluto abducts Persephone to the underworld. Consequently pains over it and neglects her duty. As there are no harvests, there was famine forcing Zeus to restore Persephone on a seasonal basis so that she spends few months in underworld and many months on earth. In Babylonian mythology it symbolizes the goddess Istar, a queen of star & lover of Taammuz who is the God of Harvest. Taammuz was killed during an intervening autumn. So Virgo goes to the underworld during winter in search of her lover and returns during the spring.

2. Virgo heralds spring and season of renewal. Virgo gives you positive cosmics including springing back to action after any calamity, fondness towards arts and crafts, romantic love, knowledge of the un-seen, faithfulness to the spouse and family, being loved by friends & enemies alike and taking responsibility. Negative cosmics are: seasonal in nature, often taken for a ride by the opposite sex, too absorbed in a matter and unwittingly caught in a conspiracy or tragedy.

3. The location of the conjunction is a Trapezium formed by the stars Zavijaya (Beta Virgo), Nu Virgo, Sigma Leo, Tau Leo and Upsilon Leo. The last three namely Sigma Leo, Tau Leo and Upsilon Leo forms a straight line and symbolizes the rear right leg of the Lion from its knee downward. This right leg is drawn backward compared to the left leg. This part represents the West. The other side of the trapezium consists of two stars, namely Zavijaya (Beta Virgo) and Nu Virgo. This represents the west. The conjunction location is closer to the east and away from the west.

3. Interpretations

1. East is rising; west is sinking. Countries such as Japan and South Korea experience economic turn around. China consolidates its power; Eurasia is on the rise. Europe as a whole is in the doldrums except for few countries in the North and the East. United States is pushed backward by Russia and countries in Asia.

2. Business blossoms in the East and flow of money would go towards east from the west

3. Family life and business life of those born under Virgo Constellation improve tremendously. Whereas those born under the Leo Constellation would suffer losses and feel sorrow

4. Persons who are born on dates 8, 17 and 28 would experience improvement in their lives

5. Persons whose names has H, F and LL are expected to do well

6. Those who hold administrative jobs would scrape through but those who are engaged in operational or marketing related jobs face disappointments.

Ramadan 2009, Planet Jupiter Sings in Chorus

Ramadan 2009 begins on a very auspicious moment. The Planet Jupiter harbinger of wealth and fortune sings the praise of the Lord in chorus with other bright stars in the sky. Not only that, Jupiter casts its benign eye on the earth. For many of you this marks a turning point for a better life. In this blog post, I describe the event in terms Astronomy, Stars and Cosmics to improve your lifestyle.

1. Positional Astronomy

Observing from Colombo, Sri Lanka at 8.00 p.m. on Friday, 21 August 2009, the sky chart gives the following astronomical position of the planet Jupiter and its companions:

1. Jupiter is in the south-eastern sky in the Capricornus constellation located at right Ascension (RA) 21 hour 35 minutes and in Declination (Dec) of 15 degree and 30 minute South. Capricornus constellation is historically depicted as a Sea –Goat and on this date Jupiter is on the curled tail of the Sea-Goat. Jupiter is on its last leg of a year long journey through the Capricornus constellation beginning on 4 January 2009, and ending on 9 February 2010.

2. On the day 21 August, Ramadan 2009 begins and Jupiter sings the praise of the Lord in chorus with planet Neptune and stars Nashira and Deneb Algedi. The other members of the choir include stars Mu Capricorni along with stars 42, 44 and 45 Capricorni, all in the Capricornus constellation.

2. Stars

1. Nashira: Astronomically known as Gamma Capricorni, Nashira is a white colour star with a spectral class of A 7 and with a visual magnitude of 3.65. It is located approximately 139 light years away. Celestially its position is on Right Ascension (RA) 21 hour 40 minutes and Declination (Dec) 16 degree 39 minutes. The star is located in the curled tail of the Sea-goat. The word “Nashira” means “Fortune” in Arabic. A well meaning star it signifies position of wealth along with political and business patronage. It also marks social status.

2. Deneb Algedi: Similar to Nashira, Deneb Algedi is a white colour star with a spectral class of A 5 and with a visual magnitude of 2.85. It is located approximately 39 light years away. Celestially its position is on Right Ascension (RA) 21 hour 47 minutes and Declination (Dec) 16 degree 04 minutes. Deneb Algedi is also located at the curled tail of the sea-goat like Nashira. The name Deneb Algedi is derived from Arabic “ Al-Dhaneb Al-Jady” meaning “ tail of the goat” given by Ulugh Beg, the Mongolian Emperor and Astronomer. A fascinating star and brighter one than Nashira due to its closeness to earth, Deneb Algedi signifies wisdom and wealth in equal measure.

Both stars are considered as an excellent pair. Arab astronomers coined the word “Muhibbeen” meaning “Loving Friends” to indicate their companionship. Both stars are located in the Lunar Mansion (Arabic: Manzil Al-Qamar) of “Al- Saad –Al Suud” which means “The Fortune of the Fortunate”. Stars located in this lunar mansion such as Nashira and Deneb Algedi and planets traversing the lunar mansion, that is, Jupiter and Neptune right now, are considered as harbingers of good fortune. This lunar mansion signifies the Hebraic/Arabic alphabet Yod/Ya and relates to the wheel of fortune turning to better times.

3. In addition to the Stars, Jupiter is having the friendship of the planet Neptune. Significantly the planet Neptune was discovered on 23 September 1846 by Johann Galle, a German Astronomer in the Berlin Observatory. At the time of discovery Neptune was located in space between Deneb Algedi and the Star Mu Capricorni. Right now after 163 years Neptune is in the same location between the stars Deneb Algedi and Mu Capricorni. I give you the location of all three: Deneb Algedi, Neptune and Mu Capricorni as on 21 August 2009 for your attention:

Neptune is the furthest planet in the solar system and is very similar to Jupiter in terms of icy clouds and storms lashing on its surface. Neptune emits a bluish tint and located 29 Astronomical Units from the earth (One Astronomical Unit equals to the distance between Earth and the Sun and given as 149.6 million kilometres). Neptune joining Jupiter in the lunar mansion “Al- Saad –Al Suud“signifies the turning to better times.

3. Cosmics

Make a date with the planet Jupiter in the early night say between 7.00 to 9.00 p.m., to improve your family life and business life. Look at the sky and observe the brilliance of planet Jupiter. Due to brightness of Jupiter you will not be able to see the stars Nashira, Deneb Algedi or planet Neptune with the naked eye. It does not matter. Fix your eyes on Jupiter. Stay for few minutes in this position. You will observe passing clouds sometimes obstruct your view. Never mind. Take a bath in the brilliance and glory of Jupiter. Now invoke the blessings of the Planet Jupiter on you. Your outstretched palms in prayer and incantation will receive the cosmic energy. Now take a step back and fondly massages your body with your palms. You will see a feeling of elation running up in your spine.

Perseids Meteor Shower: How it affects you?

The brightest and fastest amongst meteor showers is the famous Perseids Meteor Shower. So popular it is, Google put the picture of the shower on the title page along with its name. The Perseids stream never disappoints. Many enthusiasts have gathered in open spaces and or on the roof of their houses to see the magnificent cosmic firework on  August 12, when Perseids reached its peak performance. This blog post details for you Perseids in terms of astronomy, cosmics and how it affects your family life.

Meteors

You have heard about meteor showers or shooting stars or falling stars, or simply meteors. There are millions of these shooting stars seen throughout the year. When you look at the night sky generally after mid-night you will observe streaks of light flicking away in the sky for a second or two. What you see is not a physical matter, because most of these meteors are so small to be seen from the earth, but the atmospheric reaction when these fast moving meteors hit at the earth’s atmosphere resulting in a friction between the air molecules and the surface of the meteor. So you see the burning of the gaseous particles in glowing colour.

Meteors originate in the following manner. Usually comets pass through the Sun in their orbit and when they get closer to the Sun, they shed parts of their matter. These are known as Meteoroids which travel alone or in a group in the vast expanse of the space. When some of these meteoroids enter into the earth’s orbit we call them Meteors to distinguish from the Meteoroids. Most of these meteors burn out as shooting stars as described above.

Perseids

Most of the showers are named after the constellations they originate from; we call this as “radiant”. Perseids takes its names from Perseus constellation, to which we can trace back its origin or radiant at the point where delta Persei a brilliant star is located. Perseids Meteor Showers which we call “Perseids” for easy reference commences on July 23 and ends by August 22 every year. The stream strikes at about 90 miles per hour. On average 50 to 80 meteors could be seen within an hour, which is technically called as Zenithal Hourly Rate (ZHR). This level peaks to about 120 ZHR during 11, 12 & 13 August. Moreover, the level rises to about 200 to 500 when the Earth comes into the path of the comet 109P / Swift Tuttle when it flies past the Sun. The comet’s debris is the one that is transformed into the fascinating shooting stars, hence we call this comet the parent of the stream. During the years 1993 and 1994 high rates of ZHR were recorded as the 109P / Swift Tuttle comet was passing through the orbit of the earth. In fact, the comet discovered by Lewis Swift and Horace Tuttle in 1862, after whose names it is named was last seen on earth on March 29, 1995 in Australia. The Perseids stream is seen in different cosmic colours. These are keenly watched because the stream coincides with summer time in the Northern Hemisphere. The radiant Perseus constellation lies beyond the ecliptical path of the Sun in the North. Nevertheless its proximity with Aries and Taurus constellations bestows to it high cosmic significance.

Cosmics of Perseids

Perseus is all about bravery, love, wisdom, perseverance and advancement of worldly or spiritual learning. You have learnt about the hero Perseus. He set himself to free Andromeda, the virgin who was chained to the rock to be devoured by Cetus, the whale. Before Cetus can complete his task, Perseus arrives with the Head of Gordon Medusa in hand. He showed the head to Cetus. On seeing Gordon Medusa, Cetus is turned into stone. Perseus then marries Andromeda, so goes the Legend.

Against this mythological background I observed the sky chart from Tehran, Iran at 6.00 p.m., on August 12. I noticed significant phenomena which seriously affect the influence Perseids has upon the people on the earth. One relates to the position of the Moon which is on its last quarter. Although the Moon is 21.5 days old it is still brighter to overshadow the brightness of the shooting stars. Moreover, the Moon is in the first Lunar Mansion (Manzil-Al-Qamar, in Arabic) of Al-Sheratain (means: Two signs). This Manzil is defined as very auspicious moment for beginning any matter or work; besides the Moon itself is in the Aries constellation, which is the first zodiacal sign. The other relates to the position of Sun, which is in the Leo Constellation. On its direct path lies Regulus the Royal Star, Mercury and Saturn all in the Leo Constellation. Now let me give you the result.

How Perseids Meteor Shower 2009 affects you?

Sex and Your Penis

Many of you are worried about the length of your penis. Though length is an important aspect in sex it is not necessarily the only one. Thickness, shape and cosmics of the penis do have their impact on sexual pleasure……..

One of the irritating spam mails you receive in your inbox is the solicitation for giving you an enlarged penis provided you part with big chunk of money. The craze for penis enlargement is such that, there is a thriving industry consisting of quite a lot of quacks and of course few genuine medical professionals. “Does length of penis matter” is a question discussed in many forums. I believe that size has some relevance but it cannot be taken in isolation. There are several aspects that make for a satisfactory and enjoyable sex with female partners. Eros who have conic shape penis could do well specially if they target the vulva of the vagina making the women ride on pleasure.
