Despite the
five year long civil strife, Syrian strongman Bashar al-Assad has survived so
far and more than that he has checkmated his enemies and their sponsors. What
is the secret of his survival and success amidst the relentless war perpetrated

Bashar was a
shy, reserved, quiet, polite person who idolized his profession as an ophthalmologist
and has always showed respect to seniors and loyalty to authority. His peaceful
saunter was interrupted when his father called him back to Damascus to replace
his brother Basal al-Assad who died in a tragic motor accident in 1994. As nominated
heir apparent to his father the foxy Hafez al-Assad he was given all round
training in statecraft, military matters and public relation. After the demise
of his father he was elected as President of Syria in 2000 and won elections in
2007 and in 2014. The latter victory was remarkable because even though beset
with civil strife he received a staggering 88% of vote.
Today, Bashar
al-Assad still remain as popular president despite the dogs of war leashed on
him by the international coalition, which is wondering how their nemesis survives.
It is very simple he has got the ability to sync his body, mind and spirit in
perfect alignment. Here is the winning formula, I found after doing a cosmic
analysis of Bashar al-Assad.
Body: His
sunk-in but pointed eyes together with tight-lipped countenance hides artful and
suppressed smile. His pointed nose goes in tangent with his ears that fan-out
on the top proving his understanding of the ground situation. Play by the ear
is the tactic he adopts in style. A horizontal dip on the middle of his
forehead spanning into right and left like a crescent displays his ability to look
on the opposite sides of the spectrum. No wonder why he is getting the praise
of the rightists and leftists equally from across the globe.
Mind: The
civil strife forced on him by international coalition resulting in death and
collateral damages has not shaken him off the ground. This is because he has a powerful
mind working incessantly. He has the power of number 2 and lo and behold this
number occurs 4 times in his chart. In spite of claims made by so many analysts
that his end is near, Bashar goes along in the same way he conducted presidency
from 2000. He adopts a strategy that synthesizes the war effort with people
friendly policies. On the military front he fights a conventional war and a war
of attrition. Another measure is the sponge attacks he makes on the rebels who
are isolated and defenceless. Moreover, another mixture of his winning strategy
is to hold vital territory and gradually move the enemies into cantonments
which they can neither defend nor sustain.
Spirit: Bashar
al-Assad has two spirit companions. His father late Hafez al-Assad and his
brother Basal al-Assad. From the father spirit he gets stealth power in making
every move in military and political affairs. From his brother spirit he gets
guidance on being flashy and extrovert with abundance of courage and calculated
risk taking.
By synchronizing
his body, mind and spirit he is able to deliver the goods as an elected
president of Syria who is fighting against all odds. And I am sure he will have
the last laugh too!
