Disadvantages of being a mama’s boy

As a baby grows from tiny to child and later as teen, being a mama’s boy has lot of advantages in terms of love and mollycoddling. But once past the teens continuing as mama’s boy has in-built disadvantages. Here are the main negatives:

1.         Ability to make decision is the first toll. As a mothers’ boy you get too attached to your mother and unable to make independent decisions for even mundane matters where you are expected to do so in solo manner

2.         Your relationship with girls and women get strained because you always compare the target person with your own mother. This is severe in case where your mother is a good cook or at your beck and call for attending to personal needs such as washing or ironing clothes. And lo and behold she can always pick the matching tie and fitting cufflinks to go with your shirt

3.         You will find it cumbersome to be neutral when there are conflicts between your mother and other women folks say sisters, cousins, girlfriends and neighbours

4.         In most cases mama’s boys are generally well behaved. But we also find extremity. Some show high tendency to be macho and few others display signs of being effeminate. The latter is evident especially in skills in buying accessories and inner garments for ladies

5.         in corollary to the above, mama’s boy either shows unusual interest in affairs of women or simply turn out to be misogynistic person

6.         In general, mama’s boys speak in commanding tone in relating with lady colleagues or decide for them in ordering a menu in restaurants. The tendency to fall out quickly with lady friends is observed. It takes quite a time to make up with the erstwhile friends

7.         Late marriages are shown in cosmic profile of mama’s boys. Most of them get married in the prime age of 28 to 35 or in some cases in the mid-life of 35 to 42 of years of age

8.         Listening to mother always and talking to her often elicits resentment from girlfriend, partner or wife. They perceive mama’s boys as undependable anchor

The world has enough negative sanguine personalities who drag the globe down. 1.         Seeking attention:     The primary idea of seeking attention is to magnify your self-esteem.
