Magnetic Jewellery in Your Life-cycle

From your 21 birthday onwards you can use magnetic jewellery for health and wellness. Magnetic jewellery generates cosmics that keep your health in check and more than that, it makes your life meaningful. Let me give you a broad brush stroke of your life cycle and how jewellery assist you in each cycle.

Youth-time: You spend your youth from 21 to 35 years. You are in the prime of physical fitness, mental ability and sexual arousal. Consequently you use physical energy and mental agility to relate with people and the ambience. Well supported by topping condition of your body and mind you are popular among your colleagues. By wearing appropriate magnetic jewellery you can harness your inner power and push your cosmics to work for you in higher education, career and in business.

Mid-life: From 35 till about 49 years you go through mid-life phase. Most often than not you would face your mid-life crisis during this cycle. Although you are still strong physically and mentally this is the time for re-tooling and servicing your limb, muscle and blood –flow. You have to keep your eye on health and wealth on equal footing. You have to supplement your energy by using suitable magnetic jewellery so that you can replenish energy lost and at the same time re-furbish your system. Essentially you are opening the sluice gates of cosmics with the help of magnetic jewellery.

Mature-stage: This phase lasts from 49 to about 63 years where you are a comeback kid or a born-again person. You can re-live your youth-time once again or in the alternative you can also gracefully bow out. In sum you are in constant debate between your becoming an icon or a have-been. Yet there is consolation for you; you are not done yet. You can make a serious effort to make yourself heard, seen and talked about once again. That depends on your attitude, outlook and the paraphernalia of magnetic jewellery you are going to don.

Senior-type: This cycle appears to be long, even though the span is from 63 to 77 years of age. Besotted with all kind of issues in health, income and energy levels the passing of time appears to be much longer than in other phases of your life. One of the worst life scenario you could face is being treated as a blow-out person and advised to retire from the current job. Somewhat improved prospect is when you are deemed as a person with depleted energy and given mild type of jobs to perform. Probably the best circumstance you can hope for would be to do the same type of job in a different style. Whatever the scenario you are placed in you can improve your prospects by selecting the right magnetic jewellery that provides you positive cosmics to keep afloat.

Tips for First-time Users of Magnetic Jewellery

Like everything else, you would face teething problems when you start using magnetic jewellery for the first time. If you are frail and faint hearted you would easily give up and shelve the piece of jewellery forever. The wise course is to study the after-effects and do the necessary adjustments so that you can continue using it. This blog gives tips for first time users of magnetic jewellery.

1. You feel warmth and heat in your body. This is quite natural. Because magnetic jewellery has cosmics that charges your blood with magnetic ions creating heat and warmth. This heat enhances blood circulation. After couple of weeks you would return to normalcy in terms of body heat.

2. Tingling in your skin is another effect caused by the acceleration in blood circulation; if tingling persists you have to seek medical advice; if it is occasional just ignore it.

3. Dizziness occurs at times and is manageable. Once again dizziness is the product of heightened blood flow. It is noticeable by persons who have had chronic blood circulatory issues. For many first time users this is just a passing cloud.

4. Feeling faintish or nausea is yet another side-effect. Magnetic jewellery causes muscles that restricted capillaries to relax and open-up; as a result flow of blood is enhanced bringing in its wake feeling of nausea. Definitely this is not a life threatening issue but an adjustment problem.

5. Most, if not all these side-effects would disappear in course of 2-3 weeks. If these last for more than three weeks remove the magnetic jewellery for few days and wear it afterwards. If you still get same side-effects and with same severity then consult a medical practitioner. If these issues are of minimal severity continue using magnetic jewellery during day time and remove it when going to bed. If no side – effect is felt at all you can use jewellery constantly.

6. If you are allergic and find adjusting to magnetic jewellery is somewhat difficult then you are advised to go for jewellery with lower Gauss rating. I suggest 800 to 1,000 Gauss for beginners with these complaints.

7. A key solution for minimizing expected side effects is to choose the right style of magnetic jewellery. Instead of heavily advertised bracelet you can use an anklet or waist chain. For first time users who foresee such side effects anklet provides much safer haven. Once you are fairly adjusted you can go for waist chain with magnets embedded within it or by way of a pendant.

Simple Way to Increase Your Magnetism

Everyone has certain level of personal magnetism. Some have high level and many are to be content with low degree of magnetism. A simple way to solve problem related to personal magnetism is to opt for the judicial use of magnetic jewellery. Before embarking on this, here is a test for you.

Test: You can do a simple test in assessing the level of your personal magnetism by walking into a crowded place. If many eyes are turned towards you, it means that you have high level of magnetism to attract, hold and charm people. If you are getting barely any glance then you are in for trouble. Your case can be diagnosed in two ways: one is that your degree of personal magnetism is weak; on the other hand you may possess sufficient magnetism but saddled with weak channels that fail to translate your magnetism into energy.

Weak Magnetism: If you are bedevilled with weak magnetism just go in front of your looking glass. Survey your head, face, neck, shoulders, hands, waist, thighs, knees, shanks and feet. What is your weak link? Which limb is not imprinting you with that impresario effect? Once you have sized up with the limb that forms the weakest link in your body structure choose the style of magnetic jewellery that can correct this situation. There are several styles or types of magnetic jewellery to choose from: bracelet, amulet, pendant, necklace, choker, waist chain anklet and so on.

Weak Channels: There are number of channels within human body that function as conduits of receiving, processing, internalizing and transmitting cosmics in the form of vital energy. Fingers function in optimum manner in channelizing cosmics. Never the less, rings for fingers cannot be set with worthwhile magnets to carry on this work, chiefly due to space constraints. Adjusting the functionality of channels, therefore, depends on the power and type of magnets. There are five types of magnets used in magnetic jewellery: Neodymium the strongest, Samarium Cobalt in the second place, Barium Ceramic Ferrite and Strontium Ceramic Ferrite next in line and lastly Alnico as the least used in jewellery industry.

Why Magnetism varies from Person to Person?

When you are drawn easily towards a person you call him a magnetic personality. Such personality said to possess magnetism; an ability to attract, hold and charm people coming into contact with him or her. But the snag is the degree of magnetism differs from person to person. Some have high level of holding attention whereas many impress you as mundane. Several factors can cause this variance.

1. People born in places where level of bio magnetism is high demonstrate a greater degree of magnetism in them. Earth has unique field force generated by it which the ancient Chinese called a “Chi”. Every country has areas where you get high performing bio field. For example Lourdes in France and Sedona in Arizona have energy of high magnetism.

2. Those who are born close to the Equator tend to have low magnetism compared with those who are born elsewhere in north or south. Alexander Von Humboldt found that Magnetism of Earth in and around equator is 0.3 Gauss whereas as you go towards polar region magnetism increases as high as 0.7 Gauss. He also found on average Europe exhibited 0.5 Gauss an aspect propelled Europeans to master technology and prodded them in founding colonies and establishing empires throughout the globe.

3. Another factor influencing degree of magnetism amongst people is the time of birth. Broadly those who are born during night time has less magnetism compared with those who are born during daytime. The absence of sun during night causes the magnetism of Earth to come down. The rate of depreciation differs from place to place. On average it can ranges between 0.1 to 0.2 Gauss.

4. Location is yet another factor causing fluctuation in magnetism. Those who are born and bred in open spaces display high magnetism. A good example historically is Genghis Khan. In contrast someone who are born and lived, in closed location such as prison tend to be low in magnetism. Victor Hugo sketches the fictional figure of Inspector Javert in his classical novel “Les Miserables” as isolated person with barely any magnetism left.

5. People who have imbalance of red cells in their blood generally suffer from low magnetism. Linus Carl Pauling won Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 1964 for his research which included the magnetic properties of red blood cells.

6. Magnetism can be affected by ambience as well. If you live in zone where there is geopathic disturbance then you will suffer from low degree of magnetism in you. Geopathic disturbance takes place where sewerage, drainage, underground water seepage and fault lines are observed.

7. The last one on fault line should not alarm you. The Earthquake fault lines, for example, surprisingly gives much higher magnetism to those who live close by. This may be the way Earth consoles people.

By opting for appropriate magnetic jewellery, you can receive required cosmics to correct any imbalance of magnetism. You can enhance your level of magnetism if you are low in magnetism. On the other hand you can optimize your magnetism where you have enough of it but do not get the desired result as yet.

Metals Used in Magnetic Jewellery

Copper and Titanium top the list of metals used in fabricating magnetic jewellery. Other metals catching up fast include Gold, Silver and Stainless steel. Here is a review of the five metals to enable you to select the right one for your jewellery.

Copper: If you believe in tradition Copper is the right one for you. By far the most popular metal used in the jewellery industry for housing magnets. This reddish metal has hardness of 3 in Mohs scale and quite ductile and malleable in turning out jewellery. Although it is prone to oxidization, it possesses several features to accentuate magnets. Calming nerves, improving enzyme activity, enhancing bone health, strengthening blood cells and improving metabolism are chief among the health features. A key cosmics of Copper is sense of elation, peacefulness and positive attitude provided to a user.

Titanium: For a professional look Titanium holds sway. Possessing double the hardness of Copper, but lighter in weight Titanium is unique hypoallergenic metal with capacity to be coloured in number of hues. As a non-ferrous metal it can store magnetic energy fields in association with magnets embedded within it. Magnets and Titanium combination, therefore, improves flow of oxygen into blood stream and stimulates flushing out of toxins. Moreover, Titanium up builds body’s energy in healing wounds and fractures.

Gold: If you desire rich and colourful appearance, Gold is the metal for you. But wait a minute. This yellow metal is pricey but hot; its popularity lies in the fact that it is a sign of health, wealth and growth. Gold is a fountain of cosmics providing you with solar energy translated into zest, power and masculinity. On the health front gold is anti-biotic and function as de-contaminating agent. Wearing gold increases red cells in blood stream. For chronic diseases such as asthma, and degenerating ailments such as Parkinson’s disease gold based magnets are generally recommended.

Silver: If you tend to be stylish, silver makes you do that better. As metal for antiquity Silver must be your choice when you love beauty and equally fastidiousness. Medical benefits are numerous to list. Anti-bacterial, anti-virus and anti-fungal all rolled into one in this metal. As you know, Silver has the highest thermal and electrical conductivity. By wearing magnetic jewellery in silver frame you reap its cosmics in the form of reduction negativity and of brightening of your outlook. More to it. Silver keeps your hormones in perfect sync, medically speaking.

Stainless steel: If your personality is to be tough and sturdy projecting steely ego and at the same time displaying love for contemporary designs then Stainless steel fits the bargain. Similar to Silver in appearance, but more expensive, stainless steel gives you a metallic and flashy appearance. It has anti-rusting feature along with anti-moisture quality. Strength and stamina packed in equal measure, magnetic jewellery in stainless steel is fast becoming a fashion statement.

Style of Magnetic Jewellery for Health

If you wish to buy and use magnetic jewellery for health purposes, then you must select the right type of wear. This is also known as “Style of Jewellery” as well. Here are few guidelines as to what type of wear gives you the relevant cosmics in alleviating sickness.

Bracelet: Generally recommended for all types of rheumatism and arthritis, magnetic bracelet is specifically used for treating numbness in fingers, wrist and hand. Good for fatigue arising from wrist, hand and elbow. Used by many patients to prevent wrist and hand deformation.

Amulet: In addition to general rheumatism and arthritis, magnetic jewellery in the style of amulet is an excellent treatment for wide range of disabilities and diseases. Pain and numbness in shoulder, joint pain and arm pain are better managed with magnetic amulet. Fatigue of upper arm and shoulder along with neuropathic disorders can be treated with magnetic amulet. Yet another disability controlled by magnetic jewellery worn as amulet is insomnia and the condition of dream interruption.

Necklace: Magnetic jewellery can be used as necklace or choker for better results when you suffer from head-ache, migraine, vertigo and nervous breakdown all of which are connected to the head. Relief from eye strain and tooth-ache is also facilitated by magnetic necklace. Magnetic jewellery as necklace can effectively treat any form of neck pain. Magnetism from necklace can travel downward as well in countering lower back pain and chest pain.

Waist Chain: Magnets embedded with waist chain helps in alleviating pelvic disorders, lower back-pain and in strengthening muscle around waist to face twists and turn. Constipation and haemorrhoids are two of the lesser known medical condition that can be controlled by magnetic waist chain.

Anklet: In the East, anklet is more common as magnetic jewellery. A slew of medical condition can be treated with magnetic jewellery worn as anklet. Rheumatism and arthritis apart, fatigue, numbness and pain connected with ankle and swelling of lower foot are disorders best managed with the use of magnetic anklet. For men and women with knee related issue magnetic anklet offers supplementary relief along with administration of proper vitamins and nutrients. Cramps and crippling leg pain are also sedated with magnetic amulet.

Configuring Your Magnetic Jewellery

Buying magnetic jewellery is similar to purchasing a laptop. You need the right configuration for you to use so that it integrates, as they say in computer jargon, seamlessly with your personality and cosmics. There are four aspects in the architecture of magnetic jewellery: magnet, metal, type of wear and guidelines.

Magnet: This is the vital part of the structure. Firstly, there are five type of magnets to choose from. Barium ceramic ferrite, Strontium ceramic ferrite, Neodymium, Samarium cobalt and Alnico. Each type has common functionality of magnetism with different features made available for users as regards to health benefits and cosmics. There again magnet comes in different shape and form, disc, ring rectangle etc. Gauss strength is another sub-aspect that merits greater attention. Modest strength ranges from 800 upward to 1,500 of Gauss. Strong strength is logged within 1,500 to 3,000 Gauss while Super strength boasts more than 3,000 Gauss. Where it is necessary multiple magnets have to be used after structuring them carefully and in more than single strand to cover fairly wide area of skin.

Metal: The second limb of magnetic jewellery framework is the choice of metal. Apart from copper and titanium, gold, silver and lately stainless steel are catching up as main metals used to fabricate magnetic jewellery. Each metal has unique features, health benefits and cosmics. For example magnetic jewellery made from titanium doubles the health benefit in pain management. Silver based magnetic jewellery, on the other hand woks as excellent combination of detoxifying agent.

Type of Wear: Basically, jewellery industry manufactures five types of wear: bracelet, amulet, choker/necklace, waist chain and anklet. A suitable pendant is used in appropriate manner. You have to assess your needs and select the right type of wear. If you have wrist pain it would be better to settle for bracelet.

Guidelines: The final part of your magnetic jewellery structure is appropriate guidelines on purchase or fabrication of the magnetic jewellery article. If the guidelines ask you to use Germanium as an additive in your magnetic jewellery it is pointless buying magnetic jewellery without Germanium.

If the configuration of magnetic jewellery suggested is not readily available in the market, you have two choices: Review your configuration and see whether you can amend few things here and there. Otherwise you can meet with a jeweller who handles custom-made jewellery articles and contract him to do this for you.

Right Strength of Magnetic Jewellery

Before buying magnetic jewellery it is better for you to do a need assessment. You must first survey your own personal cosmics and thereafter decide upon the range of magnetic power that is right for you with which you are comfortable and confident of receiving plausible benefits.

To begin with you have to be clear why you a want magnetic jewellery, what features and functions you look for and how it would relate to your person. Once you have a clear idea of your personal state then you can search for jewellery with the desired magnetic strength. There are three levels of magnetic strength: modest, strong and super.

Modest: At this level the magnetic strength of your jewellery can penetrate about one inch of your skin. The range of magnetic power parks within 800 to 1,500 Gauss. Although it is of lower penetration coupled with narrow magnetic field, modest strength jewellery can do well for those who look forward to feelings of well-being and wellness. Other positive cosmics include invigoration and alignment of natural energy fields within you. Improvements in skin, hair and nails are observed along with restoration of stamina as significant health benefits.

Strong: With the capacity to penetrate up to two inch of your skin the strong one has magnetic range of 1,500 to 3,000 Gauss; it also has deep penetrative ability and wide magnetic field presence. A strong magnetic jewellery can garner you cosmics in the form of high motivation, a sense of deja vu and heightened energy generation. You get increased oxygen supply into your body cells and enhanced movement of iron in your blood. Moreover strong magnetic jewellery up-builds your body’s natural capability of self-healing to counter infection and invasion of viral bodies.

Super: At 3,000 Gauss and above rating super type has the capacity to penetrate your skin more than two inches. Reinforced with dual power of deeper penetration and large area of magnetic field presence super item can do wonders in corralling cosmics making you a steady and powerful. Super jewellery works in both passive and active manner. Passive when it induces sleep and rest so that you let your body relaxes well. It is active as catalyst in assisting removal of toxins and waste products. At the next step super magnetic jewellery can repair body cells that are worn out and eventually restore electro-magnetic balance so much that every passing moments give you a feeling of zest to be ready for the next one.

Magnetic Jewellery for Mitigating Cancer

Each year around 12 million people are diagnosed with cancer in one form or other. Apart from the fact that it is perceived as terminal one cancer brings in its wake the need for managing pain and suffering. Magnetic jewellery with proper alloy of metals could alleviate and mitigate the effects of cancer, as this blog post explains.

By wearing magnetic jewellery cancer stricken patients are able to get relief for pain especially when they are going through chemotherapy. A wide range of metals are used in turning out magnetic jewellery with healing as primary purpose. One such metal is Titanium. As hypoallergenic metal Titanium is a store of magnetic energy fields, stimulating flow of oxygen into blood stream thereby flushing out toxicity and up building the body’s energy in healing impaired immune system. Additionally, it stimulates nerves connected to the part where cancerous cells are predominant and brings in both iron and oxygenated blood flow.

Magnets on the other hand have cosmics of channelling vital energy and stamina into your body. It tends to reduce cancer cells by enhancing enzyme actions by laying favourable environment. Magnets also assists in movement of iron in blood resulting in improved circulation and energy levels. Other features of magnets include, improvement of healing process and enhancing of energy balancing.

Germanium is an additive used as alloy in magnetic jewellery as a knight in shining armour to save you from the throes of cancer. Unlike the knight, Germanium does not directly attack cancer cells but stimulates immune system to act against degeneration, restores immune response to tumour and cancer cells and finally protects the body from the ill effects of radiation.

Quite a number of magnetic jewellery articles are marketed by jewellery fabricators claiming these as cure for degenerative diseases such as cancer. However you must bear in mind that selecting the right primary metal, right type of magnet and right alloy such as Germanium must be weighed in before you buy and use these items. Much depends on the state of your ailment and your personal cosmics too.

Could Multiple Magnets Increase Overall Strength?

Magnetic jewellery articles are sold with either single magnet or with more than one magnets. Vendors of gem & jewellery often claim that these multiple magnets add-up to the overall strength. Assume there are three magnets of 1,500 Gauss each in your bracelet. It is claimed that the total magnetic strength is 4,500 Gauss. Is this correct? Read more for answer:

No, multiple magnets in gem & jewellery pieces do not add-up. The incremental value of adding one or more magnets is too marginal and can be ignored. In the above case may be the total magnetic flux is about 1,550 and not more. The real reason behind stacking multiple magnets is to ensure that magnetic flux strength touching the skin remains fairly constant. Let us assume you are wearing a magnetic bracelet. When you move your hand the magnet that was touching your skin moves away; the magnetic flux the skin obtained so far comes to nought. At this point another magnet touches the skin, consequently you tend to receive the same magnetic flux. Generally magnetic jewellery pieces are crafted in such a manner to ensure steady flow of magnetic energy.

Users of magnetic jewellery might experience higher or lower magnetic strength than that is advertised by the vendors. There are two plausible reasons for this phenomenon. One is that, amongst the magnets one may be much stronger than the rest generating higher magnetic flux. Lower strength is caused due to improper alignment of magnets that are stacked within magnetic jewellery article.

There are exceptions to this theory. In the case of bracelets made with more than one strands magnetic strength produced and sustained by magnets in each strand could add-up provided that these magnets are carefully arranged in multiple strands to cover a fairly wide area of the skin. Similarly, magnetic strength adds-up if you wear different types of articles such as bracelet, necklace, amulet, waist chain and anklet at one and the same time. This is because magnetic strength is felt in different parts of the body simultaneously.

Core and Surface Strength of Magnets

Fabricators and vendors of magnetic jewellery just state the Gauss rating of the magnets embedded in their article without specifying whether it is core or surface strength. Some of these magnetic jewellery articles boast and boost the Gauss strength often as high as 15, 000. There is a catch. Read to find out…

Magnets have two types of strength: core strength and surface strength. What is relevant for users of gem & jewellery containing magnets is to check out the surface strength as this s the one that penetrates the skin. Only few magnetic jewellery fabricators are willing to disclose both ratings. Many would not attempt to do so, lest it confuses the buyers.

Core strength: This is the nominal strength of a magnet. Different terminology is used to indicate core strength. Manufactured rate, Material value, Central gauss, Face value and Internal strength are some of the alternatives used by manufacturers to denote core strength.

Surface strength: This is the real strength of a magnet. Terminology used to refer real strength of magnet includes Actual reading and External strength.

You as a buyer and user have every right to ask from the sellers of magnetic jewellery the surface strength of magnets placed within the articles. If nothing is forthcoming or specified as surface strength then take the given Gauss rating by the seller and divide it by 4. For example if the magnetic jewellery piece is stated to possess 12,000 Gauss then you can easily find out that the surface strength as 3,000 Gauss.

However, original manufacturers of magnets, who are not jewellers, generally give a range value for both core and surface strength. For example, Neodymium magnet is marketed with a core strength between 10,000 to 12,500 Gauss and surface strength with a range of 1,700 and 2,500 Gauss.

Indicators of Magnetic Strength

Most of you buy and use magnetic jewellery. Well and good. You must also know how magnets used by gem & Jewellery industry fare in terms of magnetic strength. Here are five indicators that tell you the level of magnetic power.

1. Coercive Power: This is a shortened form of ‘coercive magnetic field strength”. Often abbreviated as “ Hc”, it indicates the point where a magnet loses its relative power vis-à-vis another external magnetic source. Alternatively we can say the point where the magnet gets de-magnetized by the presence of another magnet. This indicator is given as Mega Gauss Oersted (MGOe or simply as Oersted). The higher the Oersted the higher the coercive power. Neodymium demonstrates the highest coercive power for all magnets at 12,300 Oersted whereas Alnico has the lowest Oersted of 640.

2. Magnetic Flux Density: Also known as “Residual Magnetic Flux Density” and abbreviated as “Br” this indicates the maximum magnetic field strength that can be produced and sustained by a magnet. It is given in Gauss rating. Higher is better. Neodymium records the highest maximum flux density of 12,800 Gauss while Ceramic Ferrite ticks the lowest at 3,900.

3. Overall Energy Density: Related to the above two indicators, the overall energy density is given as an integer. It is often abbreviated as “Bmax”. Highest overall energy density is shown by the most robust one. Neodymium has the highest overall energy density of 40. Lowest Bmax of 3.5 is associated with Ceramic Ferrite.

4. Operating Temperature: Abbreviated as “Tmax”, this shows the maximum operating temperature up to which the magnet can function without losing its magnetic field. When this point is exceeded the magnet loses its strength and after cooling down it regains the magnetic field. Alnico has the highest Tmax of 540 degree Celsius. Contrarily the all-powerful Neodymium can be operated only up to 150 degree Celsius.

5. Curie Temperature: Abbreviated as “Tcurie” this indicates the temperature point where a magnet becomes permanently disabled and demagnetized. Once again Alnico shows the highest Curie temperature of 860 degree Celsius and once again Neodymium can be permanently disabled at 310 degree Celsius.

Cheers!

Choosing Right Magnet for Jewellery

There are five types of magnets that can be used in magnetic jewellery. Here is the summary view of these magnets to help you choosing right magnet for your magnetic jewellery

Barium Ceramic Ferrite: Moderate price and strength along with the fact that it is available in different sizes and forms have helped in its popularity in magnetic jewellery. Hard yet brittle its resistance to external demagnetization is low. Compensating feature is it has excellent anti-corrosion feature. Positive cosmics of using this magnet works in two ways: Inside it gives you the ability in balancing between and amongst competing forces within you. Outside this magnet can place you in a stronger position to resist pressure and deflect negative energy.

Strontium Ceramic Ferrite: Almost similar to Barium Ceramic Ferrite except that the element Barium is replaced with Strontium in this case. Billed as the most bio-compatible magnet it stops pain signals travelling towards the brain. Moreover it resists negative reactions emanating from weather changes as well as guard against invasive chemicals and solvents. Positive cosmics include sense of refinement and iridescence along with luminous aura around you. You get physical strength reverberating in your bones and muscles; mental alertness cascading in your thoughts and actions.

Neodymium: Popular due to highest magnetic strength at affordable price range. Light in weight yet packed with power & strength to withstand external demagnetizing agents. Major negatives are brittleness, lesser mechanical strength and low resistance to corrosion. Positive cosmics starts as you touch this magnet when you get the feel of its strength running through your veins. You get so elated and float with strength of power within you. It balances your energy and useful in many ways in health and wellness.

Samarium Cobalt: Except for the brittleness this magnet is endowed with several pluses. High mechanical strength and excellent ant-corrosion feature. When you make a trade –off between price and performance Samarium Cobalt is the magnet that you should go for. Key positive cosmics in the form heightened awareness, increased metabolism and relief of pain in bones and joints lend credence to your choosing this magnet

Alnico: This magnet can work in adverse conditions and heated environment. High magnetic strength, high resistance to corrosion and high mechanical strength compensate for its low resistance to external demagnetizing agents. It is recommended for cases where generation of strong magnetic density in closed magnetic circuit is mandated. Children and invalids requiring intense but moderate magnetic power can safely use Alnico magnets. Alnico in magnetic jewellery gives you positive cosmics in treating insomnia, neurosis, hypertension and relief of pain in bones and joints. It also provides you with a feeling of strength and sense of balance.

Why Use Alnico Magnetic Jewellery?

Alnico is an acronym referring to aluminium, nickel and cobalt alloy that was made into magnet. Its use in magnetic jewellery has never been explored. This blog post simply does that.

Discovered by Metallurgist Tokushichi Mishima of Japan in 1931 and developed over the years by many others, Alnico magnet remained as the strongest magnet on Earth till rare earth magnets were found in 1970s. Today rare earth magnets made from Neodymium and Samarium have eclipsed the use of Alnico in industry. But gem & jewellery industry is slowly waking up to find its usefulness in the field of magnetic jewellery. One key reason for this new-found awareness is the distinct alloy of elements that go into the production of Alnico magnet. In addition to aluminium, nickel and cobalt as main base, copper, titanium and iron are also added to make a formidable fortress of magnetic energy.

Alnico is fabricated using two processes casting and sintering. Significantly the sintered Alnico is packed with more power and can be produced in various shapes including disc, ring and rectangle. It is the only magnet that has a unique feature of conducting electricity resulting in the generation of electromagnetic energy badly needed by many users of magnetic jewellery.

Positive features galore in Alnico magnet. It can operate under adverse conditions and high operating temperature rising as much as 540 degree Celsius, highest known for any type of magnets. Similarly melting point known as Curie temperature is 860 degree Celsius which is once again the highest recorded for a magnet so far.

Magnetic Flux Density which is the measure that tracks the continuous production of magnetic power is ticked at 12,500 Gauss slightly below the Neodymium magnet. Alnico has several other plus points. High resistance to corrosion and high mechanical strength make it an ideal one for magnetic jewellery that uses main metals as diverse as silver, gold and titanium.

On the flip side, Alnico has low power of resistance to external magnetizing field. This we call as Coercive Magnetic Field Strength. At 640 MGOe (Mega Gauss Oersted). Alnico ranks lowest amongst the different types of magnets. As a result Alnico suffers from demagnetization when exposed to highly magnetized environment. Moreover, it can also suffer from demagnetization due to massive shock.

Despite these negatives, Alnico magnetic jewellery is ideal for bracelets, amulets and anklets with Gauss strength less than 3000 and where production of strong magnetic flux density in closed magnetic circuit is mandated. Children and invalids requiring intense but less magnetic power can safely use Alnico magnetic jewellery.

Alnico magnetic jewellery gives you positive cosmics in treating insomnia, neurosis, hypertension and relief of pain in bones and joints. It also provides you with a feeling of strength and sense of balance.

Samarium Cobalt Magnetic Jewellery

Rare earth element Samarium mixed with Cobalt is an excellent magnet that found its way to magnetic jewellery decades ago. Gem & jewellery industry has pounced on it for its dual function: its magnetic capability and anti-rusting feature. Read more…

Samarium Cobalt magnet is referred to by its short form name as “SmCo Magnet” or in much more user friendly term of “Samco”. Introduced in 1970 Samco is the second powerful man- made magnet after Neodymium. It is bio-compatible despite the scare over its constituent alloy of Cobalt. The mixture of Samarium with Cobalt has all the pluses the gem & jewellery industry is looking for: Samarium is hard and brittle Cobalt is lustrous and shatter-proof. Both are hypoallergenic and have excellent anti-corrosive capability. The finished product can fit in many types of jewellery wear including bracelet, amulet, choker and anklet.

Price and performance wise Samco ranks second to Neodymium. Yet in terms usability Samco scores well over its competitors in the magnet fraternity. It is the only magnet that can balance size, performance and price at even keel. May be for this reason Samco is used in aerospace industry where performance, size and price are parts of an equation. Added feature of Samco is that it can function under adverse conditions and high operating temperature rising as much as 350 degree Celsius.

Magnetic Flux Density which is the measure that tracks the continuous production of magnetic power is ticked at 10,500 Gauss. Due to this higher performance even quarter inch thick Samco magnetic strip would be more than sufficient for a bracelet.

Naturally Samco does not lose magnetism over the years and has higher resistance to external magnetizing fields. This we call as Coercive Magnetic Field Strength. For Samco this magnetic field strength is slated high. Consequently even if Samco is exposed to other magnets it would stay intact without losing its magnetic quality. You can test this hypothesis by walking through a magnetised environment. You would be elated to observe that your Samco magnetic jewellery does not suffer any loss of magnetism.

There are few disadvantages of Samco magnet though. Due to its brittle nature it is prone to chipping on edges; however it does not fracture unless you hit with a hammer. Samco magnetic jewellery gives you positive cosmics in the form heightened awareness, increased metabolism and relief of pain in bones and joints. A major negative is that for some users it can increase toxicity. Those who suffer from eye and skin irritation are advised to wear it after consulting with a health professional.

Strontium Magnetic Jewellery

One of the popular magnets used in magnetic jewellery is Ceramic Ferrite mixed with Strontium Carbonate. Most manufacturers of magnetic jewellery do not disclose what kind of Ceramic Ferrite mixture they are using. It is your watch out to find out this part of the story. Read for more details…

Ceramic Ferrite is simply mixture of ceramic clay along with Iron powder and either of Barium Carbonate or Strontium Carbonate. In this blog I am talking about Ceramic Ferrite made with Strontium Carbonate as a constituent alloy. The technical script for this Strontium mixed magnet is given as Sr Fe 12 O 19. Here are major salients of Ceramic Ferrite mixed with Strontium Carbonate:

1. Ceramic Ferrite with Strontium is easy to manufacture in various shapes and different sizes. Some of the shapes include round, square, rectangle, arc, triangle, horseshoe and so on. It can be subjected to multi type production processes including sintering, pressing and injection moulding. In gem & jewellery industry sintered one is very popular.

2. Gem & jewellery industry chooses this magnet as it can be mounted easily on jewellery wears such as bracelet, wrist band and wrap where it snugs in even the minute jewellery.

3. Although this magnet is brittle it is the choice of many for its inherent hardness which is measured in Mohs scale at 7 point and for the excellent anti-corrosion capability. Consequently no coating or plating is required. A major negative is the lower mechanical strength that forbids filigree type designs. In any case such designs are not needed in magnetic jewellery.

4. Price wise Ceramic Ferrite with Strontium is inexpensive due to several factors. Easy manufacturing process apart, the major raw material Strontium is cheap, abundant and a non-strategic material helping keep the prices tag within reach of many buyers.

5. As Ceramic Ferrite with Strontium has lowest magnetic flux density among the type of magnets its use is fairly restricted to magnetic jewellery where the required Gauss strength is 1,500 or less.

6. Ceramic Ferrite with Strontium is a permanent magnet with longevity. Moreover, it has fairly higher resistance to external magnetizing fields. This we call as Coercive Magnetic Field Strength. There is an option to have this magnet as soft and hard ones. The soft Ferrite has somewhat lower Coercive magnetic field Strength than the hard one. If you walk through highly magnetised environment your magnetic jewellery made of Ceramic Ferrite with Strontium might suffer loss of magnetism depending on whether it is soft or hard ferrite and the level of ambient magnetic force surrounding you.

7. This magnet variety has higher operating temperature capability. Maximum operating temperature of 300 degree Celsius means this magnet can be easily used in various types of jewellery. However, at operating temperature of 460 degree Celsius it would lose magnetic strength altogether.

8. One of the key pull factors of strontium mixed Ceramic Ferrite is that it stops pain signals travelling towards the brain. As a bio-compatible magnet it is harmless to plants, animals and human being. Another pull factor is that it resists weather and invasive chemicals and solvents. When you use Strontium mixed Ceramic Ferrite you get refinement, iridescence and luminous aura around you. You get physical strength reverberating in your bones and muscles; mental alertness cascading in your thoughts and actions. Lot depends on your personal cosmics and equally your liking of the Strontium mixed magnetic jewellery. Wise geek must do an assessment of personal cosmics before selecting magnetic jewellery decked with Strontium mixed Ceramic Ferrite.

Keep track!

Neodymium Magnetic Jewellery

Compact and powerful, Neodymium has become the heavily used magnet in many kinds of magnetic jewellery in spite of its relatively higher price. None the less, the price you pay is economical when compared with the magnetic strength that has been packed within Neodymium products. Find more details below...

Neodymium or “Neo Magnet” as it is popularly known was introduced in 1984 but came into everyday use very recently. It is one of the few big magnets that have been considered safe to be worn over the skin. It is made from rare earth metal Neodymium mixed with Iron and Boron. Technically it is notated as “Nd Fe B” where Neodymium is around 75%. The price of Neo magnet is high due to companies registering proprietary rights over the production process.

Used as bracelet, amulet, choker and anklet in magnetic jewellery Neo magnet has several features that make it the most desired magnet in the world:

1. Light in weight but projects higher magnetic flux density at 12, 800 Gauss which is the recorded highest for any type of magnets so far. Hence a small size neo magnet is sufficient when we are looking for Gauss strength of 3,000 or below. Today, most magnetic jewellery is made around this figure in the gem & jewellery industry

2. It does not lose magnetism over the years and has higher resistance to external magnetizing fields. This we call as Coercive Magnetic Field Strength. Consequently that Neo magnet can be exposed to other magnets without ever losing its magnetic quality. If you walk through highly magnetised environment your magnetic jewellery made of Neo magnet does not suffer loss of magnetism

3. Though Neo magnet has less resistance to corrosion this can be offset by coating Gold , Nickel and Zinc layer over it. Of late, Epoxy resin coating is also used to add anti-corrosion capability

4. Neo magnet is somewhat brittle and has lower mechanical strength yet for purposes of magnetic jewellery making this does not pose much of a challenge

5. This magnet variety has fairly low operating temperature capability. Any operating temperature over 150 degree Celsius demands extra caution.

6. Cosmics of using neo magnet is the key plus point. Unlike other type of magnets the moment you touch Neo magnet you get the feel of it running through your veins. You get so elated and float with strength of power within you. Recommended by analyst as the best magnet to balance your energy flow Neo magnet is useful in many ways in health and wellness.

7. Before opting for Neo magnet, you have to assess your personal cosmics and then determine the necessary gauss strength along with the type of wear such as bracelet.

Ceramic Ferrite Magnetic Jewellery

Moderate price and equally moderate magnetic strength are the twin features of Ceramic Ferrite magnet. Both factors combined together have placed this magnet as the key bastion on which tons of magnetic jewellery is made globally.

Ceramic Ferrite is simply mixture of ceramic clay along with Iron powder and either of Barium Carbonate or Strontium Carbonate. In this blog I am talking about Ceramic Ferrite made with Barium Carbonate as a constituent alloy. Let me explain my point of view. Although the typology Ceramic Ferrite is used to refer to either of these two elements Barium or Strontium it would be better if we restrict Ceramic Ferrite to Barium Carbonate mixture only. The technical script for this Barium mixed magnet is given as Ba Fe 12 O19. Here are salient points of Ceramic Ferrite mixed with Barium for your reading:

1. Ceramic Ferrite is easily manufactured in various sizes and forms: round, square, rectangle, arc, triangle, horseshoe and much more. It can be subjected to multi type production processes including sintering, pressing and injection moulding. In gem & jewellery industry sintered one is very popular. Historically sintered Ceramic Ferrite was the precursor of modern magnets as it was introduced in 1960s as cheap and convenient alternative to metallic magnets that were too heavy.

2. This type of magnet is sought after by the gem & jewellery industry to mount magnets of different sizes and shapes. Widely used in several types of jewellery wear including bracelet, wrist band and wraps Ceramic Ferrite snugs in even minute jewellery.

3. Though the magnet has hardness of 7 at Mohs scale in its favour it is very brittle. As a result its mechanical strength is low. Never the less this does not create snags while fabricating magnetic jewellery.

4. Ceramic Ferrite has excellent anti-corrosion resistance. Therefore, no coating or plating is required.

5. As Ceramic Ferrite has lowest magnetic flux density among the type of magnets its use is fairly restricted to magnetic jewellery where the required Gauss strength averages around 1,500 Gauss.

6. It does not lose magnetism over the years and considered as the most popular permanent magnet sold at an affordable price. Moreover, it has fairly higher resistance to external magnetizing fields. This we call as Coercive Magnetic Field Strength. Ceramic Ferrite is ranked third after Neo magnets and Samarium Cobalt in this regard. At the time of production the resistance to external magnetizing capability can be tweaked to soft ferrite or hard ferrite. Soft Ferrite has relatively lesser Coercive magnetic field strength than hard ferrite. If you walk through highly magnetised environment your magnetic jewellery made of Ceramic Ferrite might suffer loss of magnetism depending on whether it is soft or hard ferrite and the level of ambient magnetic force surrounding you.

7. This magnet variety has higher operating temperature capability. Maximum operating temperature of 300 degree Celsius means Ceramic Ferrite can be easily fixed in various types of jewellery. However, at operating temperature of 460 degree Celsius it would lose magnetic strength altogether.

8. When you use Ceramic Ferrite you get positive cosmics in the form of balancing between and amongst competing forces within you. Outside this magnet can place you in a stronger position to resist pressure and deflect negative energy. As a cautionary remark I must say, selecting Ceramic Ferrite dictates that you do a thorough assessment of your personal cosmics and then decide what type of magnetic wear you should choose and the relative magnetic strength.

What is Hematite Magnetic Jewellery?

Natural Hematite is one of several mineral forms of iron oxide. It has no capacity to function as magnet. What is sold as Hematite Magnetic Jewellery is not Hematite at all. Read more….

You can surf the Internet to find plethora of sellers purveying “Hematite magnetic jewellery”. As you know, a piece of jewellery is magnetic only when it contains magnets. Lodestone is the only natural magnet. Others are man-made magnets such Neodymium.

Natural Hematite is mineral form of iron oxide (Fe2 O3) In fact this is simply iron. Slightly harder but much brittle than iron, Hematite is basically Ferro-magnetic meaning that it can be attracted by a matter that has magnetic field. Even this feature undergoes changes in certain circumstances resulting in the phenomenon known as “antiferromagnetic”. Even though this type of structural change is subject to discussion and debate it is commonly agreed that Hematite is not naturally magnetised and has no capacity pull matters such iron, cobalt or nickel towards it. Furthermore, Hematite cannot be artificially magnetised either by mechanical process without altering the chemical component of hematite iron ore.

What is sold as Hematite magnetic jewellery is basically Hematine an artificial substance composed of Barium, Strontium Ferrite (Ba Sr Fe12 O19). This substance has strong magnetic field and without any doubt can function as magnetic jewellery.

So when you buy next time Hematite magnetic jewellery, be careful to ask the right questions whether it is natural Hematite or artificial Hematine.

Lodestone as Magnetic Jewellery

Lodestone is the one and only natural magnet used in magnetic jewellery. The saga of Lodestone is interesting. Found by chance, it started the study of magnet and magnetism. More than that, it has proved to be an effective anti-dote to several ills when used as magnetic jewellery. Read more…..

The legend says Magnes a Greek shepherd who lived in Northern Greece Millenniums ago, noticed one day that the nails of his shoes got stuck to earth beneath his feet. He dug the ground below and discovered a rock that has caused this phenomenon. Aptly dubbed as magnetite, the new - found Lodestone led human race to coin words such as magnet and magnetism in relation to the drawing power of magnet over iron.

Lodestone, often black and brownish rock is actually a type of magnetite with the capacity to act as natural magnet. All other varieties of magnetite have no such capacity. The word magnetite is a misnomer as magnetite in general gets attracted to magnet due to its iron content. Then the question is why Lodestone is different from the other magnetite. Very recently researchers found the clue for the missing link. Some of the magnetite that received lightening got naturally magnetized and was thereafter christened as Lodestone. That is enough for our study of magnetism. Let us turn to see how Lodestone came to be used.

Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, Arabs, and Chinese have used Lodestone for multitude of purposes. Greeks were the forerunner in identifying and using magical power of Lodestone. Thales of Miletus, a Greek Philosopher was the first to mention iron clinging onto Lodestone. Archimedes used Lodestone in attack on enemy ships with the aim to remove iron nails on the wooden planks that bind the ships ultimately sinking them. Pliny the Elder of Rome described magical power of Lodestone in healing and scaring away evils.

Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt used an amulet made from Lodestone over her forehead to preserve beauty. Chinese found dual use of Lodestone: on the utility side they developed the primitive compass with Lodestone to trace the northern direction for easy navigation. On the occult side they used it for divination and oracle.

Power of cosmics of Lodestone is remarkable. Those who wear it as pendant , amulet or in other suitable forms find they quickly align themselves with nature. They tend to understand issues and delve deep into matters that need to be resolved. Attracting new suitor or lover is generally attributed to Lodestone. Romans are the first to fabricate Lodestone magnetic jewellery to keep warring couples together. As marriage saver Lodestone brings warmth of friendliness between spouses who for valid reasons may try to go on separate ways. Improving relationship and balancing energies within are notable other cosmics.

Like in other gems & metals you must assess whether Lodestone is in fact necessary for you. Once you have zeroed in you have to find the convenient size of Lodestone that is necessary. The type of wear such as pendant or amulet is the next question to be answered. Finally whether you can use Lodestone as rock or tumbled one must be decided.

Magnetic has Double Meaning

We talk about a magnetic personality when we refer to someone who is so charming, charismatic and who captivates your attention not to forget of being so irresistible. In general you are drawn towards a magnetic person. However, in gem & jewellery the word magnetic is used to imply mutually opposite ideas. Read on……

The word magnetic is used in gem & jewellery industry in two sets of meaning. One is to imply that gems & metals can be attracted to any other external force such as a real magnet. For example, several types of Garnets including Almandine, Pyrope and Demantoid when placed within a magnetic field would be easily get attracted to this field. Similarly metals such as Iron, Nickel and Cobalt possess what we call magnetic properties that push these metals into the folds of any magnetic field.

This property of being drawn into a magnet is dubbed as “magnetic susceptibility”. In simple language we call this “being attracted to magnets”. The degree of being attracted to magnet differs from metal to metal and gem to gem. Some exhibit strong inclination to be picked up by magnet. Epidote and Magnetite are gemstones that possess strong magnetic properties. Iron is a metal that can be quickly grabbed by a magnet. These are classified as “Ferromagnetic”. Others carry fairly weak magnetic properties. Classified as “Paramagnetic” these metals including Platinum and Titanium show little enthusiasm in getting attached to a magnetic force. Hessonite and Grossular are couple of gemstones displaying weak magnetic ability.

Then there are gems & metals that are diamagnetic. This means magnetic force cannot draw these matters but instead expel them from the area of magnetic force. Bismuth, Cadmium, Carbon and Copper are the main minerals in this group; Sapphire and Zircon are notable gemstones in the diamagnetic category.

To add a twist in the meaning gem & jewellery industry, has introduced items that is magnetic in true sense of the word. A good example is magnetic jewellery made with real magnets. As you are aware a magnet carries magnetic force within itself enabling it to draw into its fold any matters that are susceptible to magnetic force. Needless to say, this magnetic jewellery attracts any matter that has magnetism within it. Most if not all these magnets are man-made from an alloy of two or more minerals. Ceramic Ferrite, Strontium Ferrite, Samarium Cobalt, Neodymium and Alnico are varieties of magnets used in the industry.

Do we have natural magnets in the world? Yes, Earth is embellished with a natural magnet in the form of Lodestone. It is the only mineral that acts as a natural magnet amidst all artificial magnets.

Gem and Jewellery for Neutral Skin Ton

Identification of neutral skin tone is a very recent phenomenon. Earlier it was understood that there were two broad divisions of skin tone into warm and cool categories. As research and analysis unearthed the new segment of neutral skin tone, it has also led to the search for appropriate gem & jewellery that could enhance glamour of those who have such neutral skin tone. This blog post is just about that.

By now you are well aware that skin colour is the external overtone and skin tone is the internal tone lying underneath. For this reason skin tone is alternatively referred to as “under tone”. You can do a small test to check whether you have got neutral skin tone. Look at the vein in your wrist, if it is neither exactly green nor blue then you have neutral skin tone. Consequently, neutral skin tone is further tweaked into leaning either towards warm segment or cool segment. Hence, it is surmised that, neutral skin tone is best accentuated with lighter tint of both warm and cool colours. Rose colour is the key test for you to confirm whether you have neutral skin tone or not. Just hold a piece of rose gold jewellery close to the wrist. If the wrist glows unexceptionally bright then you definitely have neutral skin tone.

Metals for jewellery: Apart from rose gold, presumably any alloy of gold with silver is a better choice for you. Gold finished, gold plated, rolled gold and gold filled silver jewellery is next in importance. Jewellery made from space age metals such as Niobium, Tantalum and Zirconium are recommended for that bright, polished and shiny look for you.

Gems: Colourless gemstone and diamonds are friends for you forever. Cosmic gems of blue-green combination such as Turquoise give fascinating glow to your neutral skin tone often enhancing your beauty and appearance. Opal, Moonstone, Topaz and Zircon are next in line. Ametrine, Alexandrite, Azurite and Agate are also flagged for your attention in the multi-coloured segment of gems & crystals. An interesting gemstone that cannot be ignored is brilliantly hued Spectoralite.

When you combine the above gems & metals you are ready to generate groundswell of cosmics, a kind of energy keeping you rejuvenated day and night. Undoubtedly for a neutral skin tone person this cosmics have two roles: one is to act as supply source of energy, the other, as you rightly guessed is to bring out the best in you in terms of smoother skin and remarkable and enticing aura. Of course, it begs the question as to how to choose the right gems & metals combination for you.

Gem and Jewellery for Cool Skin Tone

Skin tones are broadly divided into three types: warm tone, cold tone and neutral tone. Matching the right gem & jewellery with your each skin tone is an art itself. Let me give you a broad brush stroke about cool skin tone and how to match it by selecting right gems & metals.

You know skin colour is the external overtone and skin tone refers to the under laying colour. Generally skin tone is stated as “under tone”. You can do a small test to check whether you have cool skin tone. Look at the vein in your wrist, if it is blue then you have cool skin tone. The theory behind is simple. Cold spectrum begins from green colour and extends to blue and beyond. In order to confirm finding you just hold a silver jewellery piece close to the wrist. If the wrist glows in brightness then the matter is sealed: you have cool skin tone.

Metals for jewellery: Silver works best for cool skin tone followed by White gold, Stainless steel and most of the white or silvery metals such as Titanium, Niobium, Tantalum and Zirconium. Pride of place, however, goes to the platinum group of metals such as Platinum and Palladium.

Gems: White and bright gems are most suited for cool skin tone. Diamonds top the rating while gemstones including Pearls, White sapphire, Topaz, Zircon, Beryl (Goshenite) and Quartz are key cosmic gems that accentuate cool skin tone excellently well. Blue Sapphire, Topaz, Agate, Opal and Lapis Lazuli and purple colour Amethyst and Tanzanite are some of the other gems & crystals known to enhance cool skin tone. At the middle point it is the pink colour that acts as most promising one. By the way, the bench mark colour for cool skin tone is also pink. Ostensibly, Pink sapphire is the one that leads the selection from this segment that includes other fancy stones such as Garnet and Tourmaline.

As you are aware gems & metals when combined together generate whale of a lot of cosmics. For a cool skin tone person this cosmics form a key energy supply source. Proper selection of gem & jewellery is vital in receiving the energy cosmics from gems & metals to be transferred into your skin.

Gem and Jewellery for Warm Skin Tone

Matching the right gem & jewellery with your skin tone is indeed vital. Skin tones are broadly divided into three types: Warm tone, cold tone and neutral tone. In this blog post let me give you few ideas about warm skin tone.

First thing you should note is that skin tone is under laying colour of your skin often referred to as “under tone”. You can do a small test to check whether you have warm tone. Look at the vein in your wrist, if it is green then you have warm skin tone. The theory behind is simple. Warm spectrum consists of red, orange and yellow colours and green terminates the warm spectrum. To confirm the finding you just hold a gold jewellery piece close to the wrist. If the wrist glows in brightness there it is you have warm skin tone.

Metals for jewellery: Yellow gold is primary metal for you; jewellery from red gold, copper, pewter or brass is also apt.

Gems: Red, orange and yellow colour gemstones enhance your skin glow, beauty and appearance. Ruby, garnet, coral, chalcedony, amber and hessonite are good stones for you. Yellow gemstones such as citrine, yellow sapphire are well adapted to warm undertone. Moreover, cosmic gems that add more colour and credence to your skin tone could be selected from amongst golden topaz, golden pearl, champagne coloured stone and fire opals.

Gems & metals generate streams of sensation and particular tingling. Proper selection of gem & jewellery is vital in receiving the energy cosmics of these to be transferred into your warm skin tone.

Jewellery Matching: Skin Colour or Skin Tone

Before buying gem & jewellery, you have to decide whether you are going to match your exterior skin colour or interior skin tone. Majority of ladies look at their skin colour as a criterion to buy expensive items that eventually fail to bring out the best in them in terms of beauty and appearance. A good piece of advice is to look into both as dovetailed in this blog post.

Skin Colour: It is also known as overtone, surface tone, actual colour or exterior colour and denotes to the overall appearance of skin. The skin colour is determined by several substances most important amongst these is Melanin. Varying from dark to white human pigmentation gives a range of colours including dark, light, medium, tan, black, brown, white and yellow skin colours. There are several factors influencing the evolution of colour of skin. Geography, climate, environment and nature are chief amongst these factors. Skin colour undergoes changes over a period of life in a single generation, if the factors mentioned above are altered.

Skin Tone: It is also known as undertone, under-laying colour, or interior colour and denotes to the glow of skin. This skin tone personalizes the skin colour and projects an individual look. There are three types of undertone: warm undertone flashing yellow or golden colour and cool undertone signalling pink and blue colours. Neutral undertone has mixture of warm and cool colours. Undertone in generally subject to genetics and ethnicity and rarely changes. Perhaps, it might undergo slight change after few generations.

Selecting jewellery: While skin colour is useful in giving you general directions in buying gem & jewellery it is the skin tone that can accentuate your beauty and elegance in a big way. For example, if you have warm undertone, then buy gems & metals that are of warm colours. Gold is the primary warm metal. When the skin tone is matched properly it brings out best of not only the skin tone but the skin colour as well. You generate bright and polished look. More than that your cosmics start working positively and you appear so alluring to become overnight a darling.
